TARS

A personal assistant for clearer plans and follow-through.

TARS is a privately operated assistant for its owner's use. It brings approved information together to help prepare plans, reflections and drafts. Its memory uses Hermes and can be reviewed and corrected by the owner.

Google connection

With the owner's permission, TARS reads selected Gmail messages and Google Calendar events. Email access supports reviewing commitments and preparing draft follow-ups. Calendar access supports understanding upcoming commitments and planning available time.

The owner can request a five-item sample or a complete selected date range: INBOX messages from the past 30 days and primary-calendar events from seven days ago through 21 days ahead. Coverage and limits are explained in the privacy policy and private workspace. Attachments and other thread replies are excluded. Automatic polling is off. These Google permissions cannot send email, delete messages or change calendar events.

Owner control

The working assistant is available through the owner's private connection. This website only explains the app and its data practices; it does not provide public access to TARS.

Imported records are stored in the owner's AWS-hosted workspace after storage approval. Google records are excluded from OpenAI by default. A source must be permitted for cloud use and its records selected for an approved turn before they can be sent to OpenAI. Proposed memories and drafts wait for owner review.
